Any booking implies the client\u2019s full and complete acceptance of these T&amp;Cs.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 3 \u2013 Services<\/h2>\n   <p>The services offered include snowmobiling, dog sledding, snowshoeing, and other nature activities led by a guide. Activities are private and adapted for small groups. The client agrees to follow the guide\u2019s instructions and to be in good health compatible with the reserved activities.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 4 \u2013 Participation Conditions<\/h2>\n   <p>Participation in activities offered by Talvenmaa \u2013 Voyage en terre nordique requires :<br>\n- Physical fitness appropriate for the activity,\n- Proper cold-weather clothing (not provided),\n- Compliance with safety instructions given by the guide,<br>\n- No medical contraindications, musculoskeletal disorders, or ongoing pregnancy,<br>\nCompliance with specific criteria: for snowmobiling, <strong>under 1.40\u202fm (4\u20197\u201d)<\/strong> sont install\u00e9s dans un tra\u00eeneau tract\u00e9 par le guide, un permis de conduire valide dans le pays de r\u00e9sidence devra \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent\u00e9, la consommation d&rsquo;alcool est strictement interdite. Pour l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 chiens de tra\u00eeneau le poids maximum par tra\u00eeneau est limit\u00e9 \u00e0 <strong>150kg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 5 \u2013 Booking<\/h2>\n  <p>Bookings can be made via the website, the Fareharbor booking platform, by email, or via the contact form. The company reserves the right to refuse a booking for safety or availability reasons.<\/p>\n\n   <p>The client agrees to follow the guide\u2019s instructions, wear the provided safety equipment, and refrain from consuming alcohol or prohibited substances before and during the activity.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 6 \u2013 Pricing and Payment Terms<\/h2>\n  <p>Prices are quoted in euros, including VAT. They cover the guide\u2019s services, necessary activity equipment, and any services specifically mentioned in the description.<br>\n<p>Payment is required in full at the time of booking.<br>\n<p>Not included: personal insurance, transport to the departure location, and any service not explicitly mentioned.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 7 \u2013 Cancellation and Refunds<\/h2>\n  <p><strong>Client Request for Modification or Cancellation:<\/strong>\n<p>All requests for cancellation or modification must be submitted in writing by email. The date and time of the email's receipt will serve as official proof for calculating applicable fees.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Cancellation Terms and Retained Fees:<\/strong>\n<p>logistical costs incurred upon booking, the following fee schedule applies to cancellations made by the client:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt; Cancellation more than 30 days prior to the activity:<\/strong> A fee of 30% of the total booking amount will be retained to cover non-refundable administrative, management, and banking transaction costs. The remaining 70% will be refunded.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt; Cancellation less than 30 days prior to the activity:<\/strong> No refund will be issued. The full amount (100%) remains due.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 8 \u2013 Transport Delays, Weather, and Health Issues<\/h2>\n   <p>Flight cancellations, delays, missed connections, medical conditions, and any other personal unforeseen circumstances fall under the sole responsibility of the client. No refunds will be issued by Talvenmaa for these reasons.Clients are strongly advised to purchase personal travel\/cancellation insurance to cover these risks and seek reimbursement for retained amounts directly through their insurer.\nIl appartient imp\u00e9rativement au client de souscrire une <strong>assurance voyage\/annulation personnelle <\/strong> pour couvrir ces risques et obtenir le remboursement des sommes retenues aupr\u00e8s de son assureur.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Article 9 \u2013 Cancellations and Modifications by the Company (Weather Conditions)**<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe Arctic climate presents strict, non-negotiable conditions. Talvenmaa reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel an activity based on the following safety and animal welfare guidelines:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt; Temperatures below -25\u00b0C (-13\u00b0F):<\/strong> Children are not permitted on tours for thermal safety reasons. An alternative arrangement or rescheduled session will be offered for families.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt; Temperatures below -30\u00b0C (-22\u00b0F):<\/strong> Activities are completely canceled to protect the safety of participants and the health and well-being of the animals.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&gt; Insufficient snow cover (e.g., exceptional thaws, lack of snow):<\/strong> If snow conditions do not guarantee the safety of guests, guides, or animals, or the integrity of the equipment, snow-based activities cannot take place.Clients are strongly advised to purchase personal travel\/cancellation insurance to cover these risks and seek reimbursement for retained amounts directly through their insurer.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the event of a cancellation or inability to run the activity due to these weather, safety, or snow conditions:\nA rescheduled date or an adapted alternative activity of equivalent value (such as a cani-hike, farm visit, etc.) will be offered as a priority. <strong>en priorit\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>If no agreement can be reached on a reschedule or alternative, the activity will be canceled. To cover fixed logistical, overhead, and platform costs already incurred by the company to reserve the time slot, a fee of 30% of the total booking amount will be retained. Le reste des sommes vers\u00e9es sera restitu\u00e9 au client.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 10 \u2013 Force Majeure<\/h2>\n <p>In the event of exceptional, unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of either party (such as a major health crisis, administrative border closures, or major local network outages) that prevent the execution of the activity, Talvenmaa will issue a credit voucher or offer a date change valid for 12 months. No direct refund may be requested.<\/p>\n\n  <h2>Article 11 \u2013 Delays and No-Shows<\/h2>\n   <p>To ensure safety, animal welfare, and strict adherence to departure schedules, participants must arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the activity. In the event of a delay exceeding 15 minutes, the activity will be considered canceled by the client. No refund or rescheduling will be granted for late arrivals or no-shows.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Article 12 \u2013 Property Damage and Excess Fees<\/h2>\n<p>The snowmobiles used by Talvenmaa \u2013 Voyage en terre nordique are insured in full accordance with Finnish legislation.\n\nIn the event of damage caused to the vehicle, the client will be held responsible and must pay for the repairs.\n\nThe maximum amount that can be charged to the client for damage repair (excess\/deductible) is <strong>1000 \u20ac<\/strong> per snowmobile and per incident.\n\nTalvenmaa \u2013 Voyage en terre nordique reserves the right to require a credit card pre-authorization or security deposit prior to the start of the activity.<\/p>\n\n <h2>Article 13 \u2013 Insurance<\/h2>\n  <p>Talvenmaa \u2013 Voyage en terre nordique has professional liability insurance. Clients must be covered by personal travel insurance including outdoor activity coverage.<\/p>\n\n <h2>Article 14 \u2013 Image Rights\n  <p>During activities, photos and videos may be taken by Talvenmaa \u2013 Voyage en terre nordique. These images may be used for communication and promotional purposes (website, social media, commercial materials), unless the client expressly objects. Clients have the right to refuse the use of their image by notifying us in writing before the activity starts. No commercial use of clients\u2019 images will be made without specific authorization.<\/p>\n\n <h2>Article 15 \u2013 Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution<\/h2>\n  <p> These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
