Snow-draped fir trees, frozen lakes, and majestic northern lights—the magic of a Finnish winter is matched only by its purity. We offer you the opportunity to explore this fairytale setting through experiences tailored for everyone. We focus on small-group AND private activities to maintain the authentic approach that defines us.
PLEASE NOTE : We do not provide extreme cold weather clothing, boots, or gloves. Please make sure to arrive with clothing suitable for the forecasted weather. If you have any doubts or questions, feel free to contact us.
Snowshoeing hike with our Nordic dogs
Meet our pack of Samoyeds and Laikas, true Nordic dogs built for the Far North. Our dogs are family members who live in the house with us, are well-used to human contact, and join us in all kinds of activities. Equipped with a harness and a bungee leash, you will set off to explore Lapland's nature towed by one of our dogs. Your guide will share their knowledge of Finnish nature throughout the trail and during a cozy break around the fire.
Who is it for ? For those who want to explore snowy Lapland on an active outing in a small group, alongside our dogs, and guided by someone passionate about Finnish nature. (Please note, this is not a sledding activity).

Please note : Our dogs are trained to pull, so a basic level of physical fitness is required. Dogs will be paired based on their pulling strength, and children will share a dog with an adult.
Sled dog initiation (max 2 adults = 150kg /330 lbs.)
Our dogs are full members of our family. To allow them all to live together with us at home, we have chosen to have only one sled team. This activity is therefore reserved for couples, duos, solo travelers, or single parents with 1 or 2 young children. The activity is strictly private, with only one sled per outing. Trained on wheeled karts starting in autumn, our dogs run just one tour a day and rotate between dog hiking and rest days to keep them motivated and in peak mental and physical condition.
Who is it for ? Nature and animal lovers seeking a private, immersive experience that is rare to find in Lapland. Anyone for whom animal welfare is a top priority, and who wants to steer clear of mass tourism and animal exploitation.

To protect the health of our dogs, the maximum combined weight of all participants must not exceed 150 kg (330 lbs).
Private snowmobile safari
Axel, your guide, will introduce you to snowmobile driving and lead you through pristine landscapes across lakes and forests. As with all our activities, it will be just you and your private guide, allowing us to adapt to your pace and take breaks whenever needed.
Who is it for ? Adventurers seeking thrills, and explorers wishing to discover nature in a different way, along tracks far off the beaten path.

Ski-shoes exploration
Set off to discover Altai skiing, a unique experience combining gliding and wilderness adventure. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, Altai skis offer the perfect balance between the feel of snowshoeing and the glide of skiing, without the difficulty of cross-country skiing. They allow you to explore nature in deep snow, offering total immersion in a pristine environment for an unforgettable moment with your private guide.

Guided hike in Riisitunturi national park
Discover one of Finland’s most beautiful national parks, wrapped in its gorgeous winter coat. Riisitunturi is famous for its snow-caked trees laden with powder, but it also offers breathtaking panoramic views. Axel, your guide, will bring an educational touch to this outing, sharing insights about Lapland's wildlife and nature. As with all our activities, it will be just you and your private guide. The hike is done on foot, or with snowshoes if required by the conditions.
Who is it for ? Who is it for? Travelers who want to draw on the knowledge of a local guide about nature and life in Lapland, and enjoy an expert companion on this magnificent getaway. In the event of heavy snowfall or wind, the trail can easily get covered—your guide will break the trail and lead the way.

Night experiences
Discover the winter magic of Finnish Lapland during the polar night. We offer two options for a nighttime snowshoeing adventure: a shorter outing with a fireside break on the lake, or a traditional evening featuring grilled salmon in the kota.
Please note that this is not an Aurora hunt, but a private guided night experience. Since a large portion of the walk takes place on the lake, we will be perfectly positioned to observe the Northern Lights if they decide to make an appearance—which, of course, depends on weather conditions and solar activity.
We also offer a night snowmobile tour, best suited for guests who already have experience driving this type of vehicle.

Reindeer farm visit - In french
Because animal welfare is our top priority, we chose our partner with great care. At Manne and Christina’s, you will discover a reindeer farm where animals are truly well cared for and respected. No conveyor-belt tours, no large groups—you will enjoy an intimate experience in a small group setting. This activity is provided by our partner, Ylitalon Poromatkailu, with French translation services provided by Talvenmaa.

Miki Studio Ceramic Workshop
Looking to take home a unique souvenir—a true symbol of your journey through the Far North? Posio, the cradle of ceramics and a source of inspiration for many artists, welcomes you. Miki, an artist originally from Korea, invites you into her studio to share her craft and guide you in creating your very own ceramic snowy owl. Workshop hosted by Miki Studio in Posio.
Important information
Equipment : Safety equipment is provided: crampons, snowshoes, harnesses, helmets… However, we do not provide heavy winter clothing, boots, or gloves. Please make sure to come dressed appropriately for the expected weather. If you have any doubts or questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Snowmobile activity : You will share the vehicle with a person of your choice, and a driver change is scheduled halfway through if desired. In the case of an odd number of participants or a specific request to ride alone, an additional fee will apply. A valid driver’s license (Category B) must be presented for each driver. Children under 1.40 m (4’7”), n’atteignant pas les cale-pieds, devront s’asseoir dans un traîneau, tracté par le guide. Il est évidemment interdit de conduire sous l’influence de l’alcool, des contrôles ont parfois lieu sur les itinéraires. Une franchise est appliquée en cas d’incident avec un véhicule (voir section « CGV »).
A minimum level of physical fitness is required for all our activities.
